At the Rainy Lake Medical Center Foundation, we believe that exceptional healthcare begins with a strong, supported community. Every day, we work alongside donors, volunteers, and local partners to ensure Rainy Lake Medical Center has the resources it needs to provide compassionate, high-quality care for every patient who walks through the doors of Rainy Lake Medical Center.
We proudly support RLMC and all of its departments and service lines. Through fundraising events, generous individual gifts, grants, and meaningful partnerships, we help fuel the programs, spaces, and technology that make a difference in the lives of patients and families.
Because of our supporters, RLMC can continue offering lifesaving services, investing in modern equipment, enhancing patient comfort, and responding to the evolving needs of our rural communities. Our Staff
Rainy Lake Medical Center staff members support the work and day-to-day operations of the Rainy Lake Medical Center Foundation. Led by the Foundation Director and Development Coordinator, the team manages donor relations, fundraising initiatives, events, communications, and stewardship efforts that strengthen healthcare in our community. Working closely with hospital leadership and dedicated volunteers, Foundation staff ensure that every gift is used thoughtfully and transparently to enhance patient care and advance the mission of Rainy Lake Medical Center.

Our RLMC Board members play a vital role in advancing the mission of the Rainy Lake Medical Center Foundation. As community ambassadors, they provide guidance, insight, and leadership that strengthen our programs and outreach. Board members support the Foundation staff by helping identify community needs, engaging local partners, and elevating awareness of the RLMC Foundation’s work throughout Koochiching County.
Their volunteer service enhances fundraising efforts, offers strategic advice, and ensures that donor and community perspectives remain at the heart of every initiative. Through their willingness to connect, advocate, and champion our mission, Board members help build meaningful relationships and expand the Foundation’s impact, ensuring a stronger, healthier future for all who rely on Rainy Lake Medical Center.
