No-show Policy

To ensure that medical and support staff time is best utilized to care for patients and to maintain adequate access to healthcare in the clinic by reducing no-show appointments.

POLICY: It is the policy of Rainy Lake Clinic to monitor and manage appointment no-shows. Any patient who fails to arrive for a scheduled appointment or who fails to cancel an appointment more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time, or a reasonable excuse, is considered a “no-show”. A patient who consistently fails to present themselves for scheduled appointments will be provided written notice and may be dismissed from the provider’s practice.
