Rainy Lake Medical Center officials this week announced Andrea Pastor will serve as the organization’s Chief Ambulatory Officer, or CAO.
Pastor brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to the position, and previously served as RLMC’s director of special projects and strategic initiatives since 2019.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to join such a strong executive team,” Pastor said. “My priorities will focus on ambulatory services covering both our rural health clinics and the retail pharmacy. With the support of our amazing teams, we will continue to strengthen the patient experience and provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.”
RLMC in January began its search for a CAO in response to rapid expansion, especially with new providers and the acquisition of Rainy Lake Pharmacy.
“Implementation of this position not only streamlines our reporting structure, but also ensures focused leadership for the vibrant Rainy Lake Pharmacy, our providers, and clinic staff,” said Robb Pastor, RLMC CEO. “These areas are vital to our mission of providing exceptional care, and we are confident that under Andrea’s leadership, they will continue to flourish and grow. Additionally, it provides the essential bandwidth to support our upcoming construction project.”
Robb Pastor continued the position will amplify RLMC’s operational efficiency, strategic planning, and overall capacity for growth.
Andrea Pastor has a long list of achievements in her tenure at RLMC. In 2023, she became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the nation’s leading professional society for healthcare leaders.
