Responsibilities include coordination of the activities of the units as well as directing, organizing and assigning of work to nursing staff. Assess, monitors and educates nursing staff on patient care. The Lead Nurse represents nursing administration for an assigned shift.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MN RN license by endorsement or NCLEX examination.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
- Minimum one-year of Managerial or Supervisory experience in a hospital setting
