We proudly offer physician-staffed emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

As a Level IV trauma-designated center, our expert staff are specially trained to handle any emergency. Additionally, our trauma rooms are connected via e-Emergency to Avel eCare, which provides access to supplementary trauma experts to support Rainy Lake Medical Center’s staff.

All patients arriving at RLMC are triaged by a Registered Nurse, who evaluates their condition and prioritizes their urgency, providing care based on a priority of severity, rather than a “first-come, first-served” basis. Patients arriving at Rainy Lake Medical Center by ambulance or with an emergent condition are taken directly to the ER.
